The Rippel Foundation Promotes Laila Hussain to Director, Communications and Influence

Rippel is pleased to announce the promotion of Laila Hussain to Director, Communications and Influence as of November 1, 2024. In her new role, Hussain will lead Rippel’s communications team, set the strategy and vision for Rippel’s communications work, and advance Rippel’s mission through narrative change and storytelling that mobilizes stewards across the nation to transform the future of health and well-being.

Since joining Rippel in 2022 as Deputy Director of Communications, Hussain has led the Foundation’s narrative change efforts, spearheading strategic, multi-channel communications activities that build engagement with Rippel’s efforts to create an equitable and thriving future. Before Rippel, Hussain spent two decades managing knowledge, communications, and storytelling for mission-driven organizations in the U.S. and South Asia on a range of issues including reproductive and newborn health, education, impact investing, and systems change.

Hussain brings to Rippel an in-depth understanding of how to leverage strategic communications to build movements, shift mindsets, and inspire social change. Read her full bio here.
