We are a catalyst for change. For communities across the nation to truly thrive, it is essential to disrupt the status quo and move beyond short-term measures and quick fixes.
Rippel works closely with organizations, health systems, multisector coalitions, community health centers, state and local governments, federal agencies, academic researchers, and networks of social sector innovators. The team at ReThink Health, Rippel’s flagship initiative, provides workshops, facilitated dialogues, coaching and guidance, and more, which build capacity and create the conditions to help our partners and collaborators think differently about how to improve community health and make enduring changes that enable people to thrive. We call this work our ReThinker’s Toolbox.
Our local and regional work to advance health equity has national influence because we partner with broad networks of multisector innovators across the country who are trying to change the way we approach health and well-being in the U.S.
Our thought leadership contributes to advancing a broader Movement to Thrive Together that is taking hold and growing stronger in communities and social change networks throughout the nation.
Rippel has invested in groundbreaking tools, frameworks, research findings, and simulation models that illustrate what it will take to achieve equitable health and well-being.
Our partners and funders share our goal to advance health equity—and there is no one-size-fits-all approach. The coaching we provide using our tools and frameworks is tailored to each partner’s distinct assets and needs, to drive the changes that will have the greatest impact for them. We help them see the potential impact of investing differently in population health; design new strategies and approaches; and implement deep changes by putting new approaches into practice. For example, the vital conditions for health and well-being framework is an essential tool we use to help our partners consider how to go beyond treating illness and relying on urgent services, to address root causes and expand the conditions we all need to be healthy and fulfill our potential.
These insights, experiences, and new approaches have inspired the partners we work with to break from the status quo and become better, more effective stewards of the systems that shape our lives together.
Changing systems is hard work. It doesn’t happen overnight—and no one can do it alone. We have studied what it takes to transform systems, and we have learned that system change can only be accomplished through the practice of shared stewardship—people, organizations, and networks working together to create the conditions that everyone needs to thrive, beginning with those who are struggling and suffering.
Anyone can be a steward. Shared stewardship can be cultivated in individuals, organizations, networks, and regions.
Our coaching and facilitated experiences are designed to build stewardship capacity in participants. When we work with aspiring changemakers and stewards, we help them see how they can apply the values and practices of shared stewardship to address their unique situations and challenges.
This work has local, regional, and national impact, and it seeds thinking and action to support and advance a broader Movement to Thrive Together that is taking hold and growing stronger in communities and social change networks throughout the nation. We have a wide network of partners who are part of this growing movement.
