The ReThink Health team was honored to receive this year’s System Dynamics Applications Award, presented by the System Dynamics Society for the best real-world application of system dynamics. Over the last decade, ReThink Health has developed a suite of dynamic maps and models that have influenced a wide range of organizations in philanthropy, health care, academia, business, and government, as well as multi-sector partnerships and nationwide networks.

Those who contributed to ReThink Health’s System Dynamics work includes Elliott Fisher, Gary Hirsch, Jack Homer, Bobby Milstein, Rebecca Niles, Chris Soderquist, John Sterman, Kris Wile, and former collaborator and current Rippel President and CEO, Becky Payne.

This Award recognizes the team’s work to improve the application of System Dynamics or how it relates to the existing discipline. The ReThink Health modeling work underscores a commitment to strengthening shared stewardship, tracing connections across a suite of layered models, and utilizing a new generation of tools to help advance the quest to thrive together, including the Dynamics Model and Thriving Together Theater.
